Marathon

 Ran the Burlington Vermont Marathon.  I came down with something a couple days before the race, and had a hard time keeping myself hydrated.  Started the race going at my sister’s pace, and bonked around mile 8.  The next 18.2 miles were brutal in many ways.  Finishing with family and friends there to cheer me through the finish line was very kewl.  My sister was sending out inspirational running quotes all during the training period, a few of them from the movie “Forrest Gump.”  So after I crossed the finish line I told her I had a quote for her, “And just like that, my running days were over.”
